Bellek
Bellek is a shared task ledger and memory for AI coding sessions, for Claude Code and any MCP client. Every claim, note, decision and handoff is kept, so the next session starts
where the last one stopped. The name is Turkish for memory.
How it works
- Hooks record each session as it works: its prompts, the files it edits and its closing messages.
- A session claims a task with a lease, so two sessions never work the same task.
- A session that stops mid task leaves a handoff: what it did, what is next, what is still open and which files it touched.
- The next session gets a briefing of where the work stands, cut to a token budget, whole sections from the bottom.
- Every edit is a new version and the old one stays. Tasks move only along their state machine.
Run it
The server is a single Go binary with the web UI inside, and it stores everything in Postgres. Agents reach it over MCP or the HTTP API.
